A collection of so-so bird pics.
I’m not a birder at all but I found out a local arboretum has a bird blind so a friend and I went to check it out. Walk a mile in a birder’s shoes I guess. An overcast day, after a rain, near sunset. Not the best conditions light-wise but I had a good time trying to capture something interesting.

I had the idea for this photo several years ago but always had barriers to putting it together- too busy, creek too low/too high, poor weather, etc. Well, thanks to COVID-19 I have lots of time. So it finally happened. Just how I had pre-visioned it. Finally.
Driving home from work I saw these kids playing in the creek. Like something from another time. Usually I think “that’d make a great pic” and then not do anything about it. This time I got a camera and came back for the photo.

If if you look close you can see the focus isn’t great. I’m not sure why, I was on top of a parking garage so maybe there was some vibration. But it was a nice night, I was with a good friend and I liked the composition.
So here it is.
